Pass Your Driving Theory Test DS
The idea of having Theory test questions on my DS wowed me from the start especially after booking my theory test for early afternoon and knowing I wouldn't be able to access a computer all morning before hand.
The questions themselves are presented in the same way that they are on any standard computer game version and although this game is not DSA approved the questions are 90% the same if not 100% the same as they can really only ask you so many questions on this. You can separate the questions in to the different sections of the highway code which is really helpful if you struggle with a certain section.
Road Signs Test.
The game offers a quick fire test to allow you to test your knowledge of road signs this can be really useful if this is a particular area of weakness. The game also gives you overall statistics to show you how well you are doing overall and for each of the areas in the driving theory test.
On Screen Highway code!!!!
I was amazed when I found the entire highway code on screen which is really helpful if you fancy a quick read.
Not really sure why this is on the game and how it would ever help you. But basically there is a car on screen and you have to direct the car in to spaces around a car park using the lower touch screen (with a steering wheel on) to drive and the buttons to accelerate and reverse. I'm not sure the makers of the game were quite thinking on this aspect of the game so I didn't waste too much time on this.
Overall a really good way to learn your theory on the move!
Driving Theory Trainging for ds is the first of its kind. The game helps you by a number of different ways from answering simple questions to having a practice exam.
When I first started playing the game I had to make my own profile. A nice thing with the profiles is that you can have up to 4 different profiles. That means that the whole family can have one.
Afetr you do this you go onto a menu system. There are 6 categories to the menu system. Progression, options, vehicle and motorcycle. Games is also one as well as highway code
This is where you see your results for the different practice exams and your success rate. You can also see who out of all the profiles has the best score.
This menu is for vehicles such as cars. Here you can take a practice exam, answer some practice questions and do a random test. Also there is a cool mode called challenge. This is where you have to answer questions really fast. This is fun to do.
This is the same as the vehicle mode just about motorcycles. So if the practice exam is about cars this will be about motorcycles.
This is the most funnest part of the game. There are 6 different games to play but my favourite is park the car. This is where you have to park your car into a parking space by either reverse or forward parking. There are different arking spaces to park in such as bay or parrallel parking.
Really cool game, bit boring as the questions can be a bit long but otherwise very fun and useful to a trainie. Very helpful indeed.
