Advantages: Original, funny and addictive gameplay.
Disadvantages: Short, and a little repetitive.
Having never been a fan of the DDR series or the other various dance games, I was pretty surprised at just how much I enjoyed Elite Beat Agents.
The premise is simple - people all over the world are in trouble, and it's down to the agents to save them the only way they know how - through the medium of dance. You tap and drag your stylus in time with the on screen prompts to direct the agents - ensuring that the story works out ok.
For a short and simple game, the quick cut scenes pack a surprising amout of humour and every situation feels unique. I found the game's higher difficulty level challenging, but the easier settings will accomodate anyone with two left... fingers.
There isn't much to criticise the game on, but it was all over quickly and with harder modes only offering the same songs, it did grow a little repetitive. Overall though, I was shocked at just how addictive and enjoyable a rythm action game packed with cheesy pop music can be.
Summary: A fantastic game that makes great use of the DS's touch screen.

Good start but you could mention the graphics, the music in the game, the main story mode and what else you can do. |
