The game is 3+ and is designed to be very basic - there are games like pointing a fire hose at fires to put them out and simple puzzles, that yes, are designed for younger children, but are they suitable for a 3 year old? I wouldn't say so. Well, not my son anyway.

When you have more than one child the younger one inevitably wants to copy the older one, and doing things like playing the DS is no exception. So when my older son got into his Nintendo DS my 3 year old copied. So out we went looking for games that would keep his interest. Being a Fireman Sam fanatic (not just a fan but a fanatic!!) we decided £14.99 wasn't too much to spend on this game. Games can be quite challenging so could cause frustration for younger kids.
