Glory Days 2 (DS)

I have never played or even heard about Glory Days 1, however after hearing a very positive view of this sequel from a friend, I made it my business to check this game out. Glory Days 2 is a very interesting combination of genres. On one hand, it's a very straightforward side-scrolling arcade shooter. You pilot an aircraft, and armed to the teeth with guns, bombs and missiles you MUST make it your business to blow up as many enemy troops / equipment as is physicaly possible. Whether you own a DS or not, chances are that you have NOT heard of Glory Days 2 (GD2). It is not exactly the most publicised nor best selling of games on the DS. According to Amazon's sales rank, GD2 is 2601th on the list of bestselling games on all platforms. Compare that with Brain Training (13th on ALL platforms) and 42 All Time Classics (21st) and you get the picture that GD2 is not exactly in the mainstream.
