Advantages: For the hardcore fans this is cheap

Disadvantages: Bad gameplay, terrible graphics, boring

This has to be one of the most boring and badly designed games that I have ever played!

The gameplay is identical to that of the TV show, whereby the aim of the game is to take as much money through to the final showdown with the least amount of killers as possible. It is played with the normal round with the same amount of balls and people, and at the end of each round you can then vote somebody off who you believe to be either lying, or to have the worst balls.

The game is as you would expect really, a carbon copy of the TV show, the trouble is that I just dont think that it works in the form of a video game. The main reason for this is that the main part of the game is to try and convinve people that you are telling the truth. With the game you are given an option to tell the truth, or three different bluffs, with pre-set amount of cash to bluff with. This defeats the point of the game, and is probably the best way that they could have encorperated the show into a game, but as I said, it just doesnt work!

I have played the board game version of this game too and this is much better as you can actually play it as seen on the show. This game is a bit more exciting when you are plaing in multi player mode against friends as you feel that you are trying to convince them a little bit more than if it was just against the computer.

Not only is at quite bad in terms of gameplay, the graphics are terrible! You also find yourself constantly clicking 'A' to skip all of the vocals by Jasper Carrot, as you will have heard them so many times before and just want to see what balls you have!

So far I have played it about 8 times and only failed to get to the final table once, everytime I have reached the final table the computer always chooses steal, so you find yourself pressing to steal just because you know that the computer will do the same. So you spend your time clicking 'A' to get through the boring comentary, you get to the end, no matter how much money you are playing for you will not win it as you will both be choosing to steal anyway, so it is completely pointless!

I am glad I never bought this game, I did get given it as a present, which i am grateful for, I just find the game very tedious and pointless. No doubt there will be people out there who love the show and will want to playthe game a lot, and for those £15 is quite cheap for the game, for me though, it is a waste of money.

Summary: A very boring game, £15 is cheap for those who love the show, for everybody else, leave it alone!
