Strangely enjoyable! (Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (DS))

Advantages: Something different for the DS Disadvantages: Addictive
I've played the PS2 versions of this game and I think I may have even attempted the Gameboy Advance version. I always maintained that "shoot out" games weren't for me - until I spontaneously bought this! I like my platform games or "Sim" type games but was getting a bit bored and there wasn't much out so having heard a friend rave about it I went out and bought Chinatown Wars. The graphics are great and really effective on the double screen. The idea of the game is to complete missions set by various mob bosses. These include driving to certain places, killing people, driving people around and body guarding to name a few. With in the game there are also mini games such as ambulance driver and taxi driver. Summary: Different to the Playstation versions, but not in a bad way. Engaging storyline. |
