Advantages: Good level of difficulty. Interesting game genre

Disadvantages: Sketchy style animation not to everyone's taste

Hotel Dusk: Room 215 is a good little game for the Nintendo DS, that should keep the average gamer's attention for quite a while. The general idea is to piece together the mystery surrounding an ex-cop's partners disappearance and it's connection to the the mysterious Hotel Dusk.

The game has a 'sketchy' film noir style animation that won't be to everyone's taste, but it is certainly different to the standard colourful Nintendo mentality.

The plot is decent enough and the challenge, without giving away any spoilers, is aimed at just the right level for the type of gamer I think Hotel Dusk is aimed at.

You use the DS on it's side like a 'book' and it can be set up to suit either left or right handed people for equal convenience.

Hotel Dusk Room 215 is certainly a good addition for anyone wanting to buy a game of this genre, and it showcases the touchscreen/stylus features of the DS very well.

Summary: A very good game which will provide many hours of entertainment
