Advantages: Great characters and narratives.

Disadvantages: Can be incredibly slow.

Hotel Dusk is not a game for everyone. It can be slow moving at times, and in my circle of friends it has been either a loved or loathed game. The game is basically a detective story with you playing the lead character, based in a hotel, with you dealing with a varied cast of characters and their intertwining stories and relationships. The relationships are frequently intriguing, occasionally hilarious, and almost always believable. Although the game is a tad slow to start, once into the game it becomes an enjoyable story, with the main character Kyle Hyde a complex character and his trials and tribulations will keep a patient player glued to their DS. It's hard to write a review without spoiling the story, so it's fair to say anyone who loves a detective yarn and isn't bothered by the slow pace of the game will find plenty to love here. Recommended.

Summary: Not for everyone.

Welcome to Dooyoo.

If you want higher ratings you need to add more info on things like what you do in the game (e.g. is it a RPG, First Person Shooter or a Strategy game?), the graphics (e.g. is there any slowdown, how do the characters look and what do the environments look like), the sound (e.g. soundtrack, effects, voice acting etc.) and how much content there is (e.g. how long did it take you to finish, were there any side missions and was there online play?). If you need any more advice send me a PM.
