Hotel Dusk Review (Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (DS))
Member Name: charley24
Advantages: Good Puzzles, Great Mystery, Keeps You Entertained Disadvantages: When You Have Completed the Game, Playability Ends ! Hotel Dusk is a puzzle type/adventure game. Think Resident Evil without the gore ! You play Hyde, a police detective trying to unravel the secrets of Hotel Dusk. There are many charachters to meet and interact with and it's your role to discover their story and how it fits into unravelling the puzzle. Within the game are additional puzzles which keep you entertained as you are collecting items, finding secrets etc. I played this game on the DS and then my daughter aged 10 also played and we both agreed that it was addictive and we would like to buy more games in the same genre. I would probably most liken it to Silent Hill 2, however this game is really about trying to unravel a mystery rather than being scared half to death by Zombies. If you are a fan of games where you spend time working things out, finding which items go where or deciding which route of conversation will help you extract information from charachters then this game is perfect. It can be difficult at times, however the fun is evident when you figure things out and there are plenty of suprises and big reveals to be had ! Summary: Review of Hotel Dusk For Nintendo DS ! |
