Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (DS) (Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (DS))

Advantages: challenging puzzles near the end Disadvantages: time-consuming between puzzles, very easy puzzles at start After a year of the DS lite I was beginning to get bored of the same old predictable games and having originally bought it for train and plane journeys I was looking for something to keep me interested. Hotel Dusk: Room 215 was recommended to me by a friend and as I used to play these games on the gameboy I thought I'd give it a try. The puzzles begin very easy and far between with the majority of time being taken up by character interaction, though the puzzles do increase in difficulty the game is hard to get into and did not maintain my attention for long. Those buying the game for demanding puzzles will be disappointed at the game time needed between puzzles and the very easy level at which the puzzles begin. The storyline becomes rather unbelievable at the end but those who want puzzles should not be put off by this as the storyline is not the main focus of the game. A good game once you get to the higher level puzzles but time-consuming to get into the more challenging puzzles and a lot of character interaction between. Summary: good game once you get into it but an easy and somewhat boring start |
