Advantages: puzzles to solve

Disadvantages: lots of reading

Hotel dusk is a game where you solve puzzles around a hotel setting in order to solve the mystery realting to the main characters old work mate Bradly.

I enjoyed solving the puzzles in the game and it's quite addicted looking around the hotel for the next clue or puzzle to solve. Moving around the hotel is very easy, simple click the direction you wish to go, following the easy to read map.

In the game there is a lot of dialog, which you can read quickly, but gets exahsting after a while, as you just want to solve more puzzles! The dialog holds a lot of clue giving hints of where the next puzzle is and fills in the missing pieces of the hidden past of the main character.

The graphics in the game are limited althoguh when playing the puzzles, it is sufficent to be entertaining.

A negative point to the game is the annoying music, although this is certianly a personal preference, i noramlly play the game with the sound off.

On amazon the game is £14, but to be honest i dont think it is worth that much, maybe around £10.

Summary: good game but not the best puzzle game around
