Advantages: Amazing List Of Characters, Good Gameplay

Disadvantages: It's In Japanese, Stages Could Be Better

Jump Ultimate Stars is a fighting game where you have a target to achieve (Can be anything from breaking walls, to knocking out your opponent, to collecting bananas) against an opponent usually. If you can't read Japanese I'd use a FAQ from the internet. The game play works a lot like the Super Smash Brothers franchise, a 2-D arena that you can throw your opponent off. There are loads of character's, all from popular manga and with an array of attack's (Around 10-20). The graphics are great, even though it is completely 2-D, the characters look amazing. You sort out your team using something called a "Koma System", a genius system using blocks from the manga, say you have a Goku panel that takes up 5 blocks, if you place it on the grid you'll get a level 5 Goku on your team. All panels 4 blocks and over are 100% playable, those that are 2-3 blocks will appear on the stage and attack, defend or heal when prompted. The stages could be more interesting but the gameplay makes up for it.
