Advantages: Easy to control, great fun and hours of additional play

Disadvantages: Lacks some of the depth from the next gen platforms

This is the latest in the 'lego' frachise and arguably the best so far. This new game allows players to complete the game playing as baddies and goodies. This adds to the fun factor and expands the life of the game. Once you have completed the first levels as a good guy it opens up the bad guy section. As usual there is a lot of humour in the game and a great amount of attention to detail. You can use a variety of different suits for different activities such as a gliding suit for batman, a magnetic suit for robin allowing him to climb walls, toxic protection suits etc. Once you have completed a level you can go back to it and complete it on free play so that you can get all the extra bits you couldn't reach before. Additionally there are plenty of mini games to play as well as characters to buy and the customise character feature. This version is purpose built for the DS and differs from the other versions for XBOX 360 and PS3.

Summary: Great family game and for fans of other lego series games
