Mario Kart DS is a must have game for anybody who owns a Nintendo DS. The game itself is based mainly on the original Nintendo creation and features all of the most well know Mario characters.

The game itself is filled with exciting levels with a whole load of separate mini games. This game manages to entice the user through a whole use of different mediums. In particular my favourite mini game involves using the microphone to keep a variety of balloons inflated.

However i find the most common misperception people find about this game is that it is mainly suitable for children however i personally think that it is great for people of all ages as it genuinely has something for everyone.

A welcome to this game has been the addition of WI-FI, enabling users to interact and race with other players over the world all for free. This helps to bring a new level to this game as it is a game you can just pick up and play again even when you have completed all of the levels.

The game itself has a great range of graphics which shows the Nintendo DS to the best of its abilities. The graphics itself look very similar to that of the Nintendo 64 and you can see the great detail and time spent for the graphics when comparing it to other games which do not meet such a high standard of Mario Kart.

Additionally the sound brings the familiarity of a classic Nintendo game. The fast paced and cheerful nature of the music appeals to everybody and suits this game very well however because of this there is only a few soundtracks so sometimes you may be hearing the music more than once on several occasions.

Personally i didn't find myself completing the game very quickly. There are many levels and difficulties available so that there will always be a challenge and when you have completed this game you are open to many more players using the free wifi service.

Overall this game is a must have, with a variety of different and challenging levels along with all of your favourite characters, it cannot disappointed.

Summary: A great game for everybody which is fun to play
