Advantages: Great fun! Can even connect with people with have a DS but not this game.

Disadvantages: It can get too addictive and cause lack of sleep!

It was this highly addictive game that made me bully my little sister into buying a nintendo ds lite in the first place!
My best friend has this game and she has two ds's where she had the original and then her brother also brought the ds lite when that came out. So whenever I slept at hers we would have one each connect them, and race each other. It was great fun!

It was so fun that I wanted a DS of my own just so we could play each other when we are both at home etc but I didn't have enough money to buy a console, and felt too old to be saving up for a DS! But eventually I bullied my mum into buying my sister one for her birthday but there's no surprise about who gets more use out of it!

I now have this game and it is SO addictive! When my best friend and I stay at each others houses now it is just natural for us to spend wayy too long playing this game and we have had many evenings when we start playin about 9 o' clock and don't finish until about 3 in the morning!

You can either enter each others friend codes so that when you are both not near each other but near internet access, you can click on the friend option and your friend will come up if you are both on there at the same time and race them. Or you can just go on the international or regional option and race people around the world. It's great fun!

You race around all different types of track and unlock different cars and charactors as you progress through each track and engine type. You also pick up boxes around the track as well which turn into items that you can use and fire to help you or destroy other people, they really do turn the game around!

We also make up our own versions of the game, for example, if we are playing on friend mode them we will be playing each other and also 6 other computer generated charectors, and we pick the person who is losing and who we feel sorry for and we try to help them by slowing down all the other charectors and it's our mission to get that player to the top of the leader board which sometimes takes us all night but once we set ourselves a target we can't stop!

You can also set it up to play in teams so that each of you has 3 computer charectors on you team so it gets a bit manic trying to help people in your team whilst slowing down the others!

On friend mode you can also have more people join and you can have many of you in a race at one time which sounds like great fun and I can't wait to do when I find some other people to do that with! I dream of one day having a group of us sitting in a room battling it out for 1st place!

I'm such a big kid! I haven't been as addicted to a game as much as this in ages!!

Summary: Great fun! You won't understand how great this game is until you try it!
