Once again another great game in the Nintendo DS range, I do think that you cannot beat Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games on Wii, but I do think that this is a great similar game that is on a portable console. This is a great game where Mario and Sonic to create one of the fastest selling games in a long time.

This game has 16 Olympic from track and field, archery, skeet shooting, trampoline as well as Olympic events exclusive to the DS, such as Cycling pursuit and 10m platform and it has 8 unlockable Dream Events as you compete to get a gold medal.

There are three game modes Single match mode, where players can pick the event that they want to take part in, Circuit Mode, where you pick a series of events to compete in to the make the gaming last longer and Mission mode where where players have their athletic ability tested by being timed.

Multiplayer challenges for up to four players, where they can all compete against each other via the wireless connection. Also with the wireless connection you can see how successful you are against other world ranking scores of players globally.

For the ultimate gaming experience play a series of games to unlock other games and make the gaming experience even better. What's more all of you favourite characters from Sonic the Hedgehog, Knuckles, Mario , Luigi, Bowser and Amy to name are few are back to make the gaming experience even more enjoyable. Each of the characters has different sports event that they are better in than others so make sure you chose wisely.

You controls the various games in different ways some use the joy pad, whilst others use the stylus for example on the running you brush the stylus backwards and forwards as fast as possible to enable you character to run, the faster you go the faster they go.

This game is very addictive and is a game that is hard to put down it has great graphics, the best that I have seen from any of the DS games that I have played to date. The audio is also good, although I do not normally have the sound on as I am normally on the train.

The multiplayer game is great and is fun for all, although the only downfall in my opinion is that there could be a bigger selection of games to play in multiplayer mode, you can open more games if each of the DS owners own this game, but I am yet to try this.

This game is everything you expect and more compared to the other Mario and sonic games that I have played and I cannot wait to unlock all of the games I am just over half way at the moment. You will never get bored there are so many different sports you will have endless fun.

This game was very expensive but you can now find a game that retails around £15 which is a bargain and is worth every penny, even if this game was £40 I would still recommend that you rush out to buy this game.
