This is by far my favourite megaman game of all time. I love the concept of humans and navis as A.I. kinda things. Lan and megaman make a great combination.
Thea idea behind it all is that the internet has sort of become an almost tangible thing thanks to science these days. it is literally now a place of twisting and winding pathways that you can explore at will. To do so each person in the world is given a Net Navi, e.g. megaman is Lans.
Using this navi you can log onto the web and use the navi as a sort of ethereal second body.
This advanced level of internet interaction however has several security implications, i.e. the big bad boss whose trying to take over the internet with viruses. Viruses have become tangible too and you have to delete them when you come across them by defeating them in battle.
The battle system is quite unique in which you and your enemies appear on a 3x6 board of squares. you can move around in the blue half and your enemies in the red. using power up cards that allow you to use certain techniques you have to battle the enemies. each card is unique and its quite a challange to find them all.
While the game can drag in parts on account of being a little childish it isn't enough to put you off since this is truly a very imaginative and engaging game
A mysterious Navis force has taken control of the Internet!! Now it's up to Lan and his friends to infiltrate the Dark Chip Factory in the Nebula Headquarters and destroy the Dark Chip production system. The survival of cyberspace hangs in the balance!
