I have spent my hours playing these four games on the DS and find each one very addictable. I tend to play against my wife who I must admit is very good at all of these games.

GRAPHICS
Fabulous graphics and is what you would expect from a DS game. The Battleships game is great for kids and even us adults.

SOUND QUALITY
The sound is set at a high standard and even though some soundtracks on the Yahtzee can be repetitive it really does give value for money.

CONTROLS
Using the controls is easy and there are no bugs or problem using the stylus pen.

GAMES
Monopoly: This is completely the same as the board game as you might expect and allows single player as well as multiplayer. I tend to use the multiplayer more as I like to beat my wife at this the most as she always tends to get Mayfair. Settings can be changed easily and rules and you can choose whatever marker you wish to be e.g. Car, Boot, cannon and so on.

Boggle: Again this is the game as the version you get in a box and have to shake and then produce as many words as you can in the time given. What makes it so competitive is the leader boards, which enables you to frustrate your family and friends stating you are the best. Again rules and settings can be changed and also the layout of Boggle.

Yahtzee: This is my favourite game of the four. Mainly due to the fact that it is so hard to get a Yahtzee and when you do you get four in a row which propels you to the top of the leader boards. I would recommend either single player or multiplayer as the computer is quite decent at competing. Again settings can be changed and also there are different levels to play e.g. wooden surface, moon surface.

Battleships: This is great for the family and can you can choose from single player and multiplayer options. The computer is quite competitive and the graphics are very good considering the power of the DS. You get to see torpedoes firing across the screen and explosions as they hit their target. Either a splash or a bang.

CONCLUSION
In my opinion this is one of the best DS games for family and friends. Great graphics, sound and most of all fun for everyone. I bought my copy for around £25 and would say that it is well worth the money and you are addicted once you start playing.

My message to Atari is please develop more board games like these ones!
