Advantages: Very interesting techniques, quick games, brain stimulation

Disadvantages: May be difficult for first time users

So here it is, More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima. Having been a big fan of the original Brain Training, and played it until i pretty much wore a hole in it, I thought it was time to trade it in for the newer model.
Now, I was somewhat doubtful that this game would be different enough to be exciting, as well as good enough to keep me amused. I didn't need to worry. Having been greeted by my friend Dr Kawashima i thought I'd have a quick look at the different challenges available to me.
The "Talk out loud" game on this 2nd version is Rock - Paper - Scissors, where the picture of the hand is displayed in its position and then you are asked to beat it or lose as quickly as you can. I found this quite difficult to begin with but actually very enjoyable.
The daily training aspect of the game is similar to the original Brain Training in that as you do more training, you unlock more challenges. I found that this time around the different tasks are more inventive and more challenging, as you would expect.
You can try your hand at Masterpiece Recital, where you get to play famous pieces of music using your stylus the touch screen that becomes a piano.
Continuous Countdown is where you keep subtracting a designated number from the number shown on the screen as quickly as you can.
Missing Symbols where you enter one of the mathematical symbols to complete the sum, eg 8 ? 3 = 5 answer: -
Word Blend is where you hear a number of different people saying different words at the same time, as you write down what you hear.
Correct Change is where you are given a sum of money from which you must subtract the amount shown on the display screen to give the correct change.
These are just a few of the available training techniques I don't want to ruin all the surprises!!
I absolutely love this game and enjoy sitting down to play it. I would definately recommend Brain Training addicts go out and buy it as it is a refreshing change from the first game.
The only advice I would give on purchasing this game is that I think you definately need to be pretty good at the original Brain Training Game before you start on this one as it would probably be quite difficult to pick up for a beginner.
All in all a brilliant game!!

Summary: A great way to keep your brain youthful!
