Advantages: the few puzzles you get are good

Disadvantages: not enough puzzles, finding items does get a bit boring

I thought this game was going to be a lot like Professor Layton and the Curious Village, which I thoroughly enjoyed. So I was really looking forward to buying this game.
As soon as I started playing I realised it's nothing like Professor Layton, except the point and click concept being similar.

This game is not like the usual point and click games I have seen previously, as you are only given one scene at a time to view and you have to find the items that are given to you on a list. It actually turns out to be more of a search and solve game. This concept is ok but does get a bit tedious and repetitive. At the end of doing a few of these 'find the items' scenes you get given a puzzle to solve, which makes a change to the searching for items scenes!

In this game you play the part of a master detective hired after millionaire Phil T.Rich goes missing and presumed dead, to solve the mystery of the 'murder' and find the real heir to his millions. There are 12 potential heirs to the money and over 1000 items/clues to find in the scenes, so there is a fair amount to do.
There are also more secretively hidden items in the scenes that you must uncover with the help of some of your handy tools, such as an xray, a torch and a scanner.

Unlike a lot of these kinds of games there is the added bonus of being able to play with or against a friend, where you can either work together to find the items or go head to head. This is a great idea and I think it's a lot like a complicated I-Spy, seeing who can find the items quickest.

I was hoping this game would have a lot more puzzles, as I did get a bit bored but overall it's not too bad a game.

Summary: bit boring but ok for a point and click
