A quick look at the game's case and the title of "Need for Speed Carbon" you'd be forgiven for thinking that this is a game that is purely marketed at petrol heads and those people that are either too young to drive, those people that cannot afford to buy and modify a real boy racer's car or those that can get a car like this but do not for various reasons. Looking beyond the title and the picture on the case it is clear to see that this game is suitable for all gamers that enjoy car racing games. This is a great street racing game and transfers well onto the DS format. In the game you race around a series of street circuits against opponents and as you progress winning money so you are able to access different cars and features. As you win races so you take over rival gang territory and those new members act as wingmen for you during future races once you summon them using the control pad, at times you will also have to race to defend your newly acquired territory from other gangs as well.
