Need For Speed: Undercover (DS) ... this an all-out chase where you're the hunted. And the hunter. Now you must get behind the wheel and risk everything to infiltrate a ruthless international crime syndicate and take them down. The man you're after is a maniac behind the wheel, and he's driving like his life depends on escape, which maybe it does. He's the one with all the answers you need, you will track him down. Needless to say, that fleet of police cruisers in your rearview mirror won't make things any easier. It will take all of your experience and every ounce of skill to outrun the law, take down the enemy, and unlock the truth that puts an end to this chase once and for all.

... like the story. It is good that you can customise your car to how you want it and it does make a difference when driving, but without much of a plot it just feels like you are racing for no given reason. Also, what is it with these racing games and bouncing off of walls and still being able to drive at high speeds? It just isn't real and too arcadey. Need for Speed games have been going downhill for a long time. This one is another that can be added to the list. Rating:

The latest offering from the "Need for speed" franchise comes to the DS and as with most racers on this platform it just does not really work. Yes,it has some great cars and the actual racing is not that bad but with a very repetitive range of courses coupled with what i like to call "Any city graphics" in other words they all look the same they real have no character at all. It is just a matter of pressing the A button to accelerate and away you go,these cars take a hell of a lot of damage before they are destroyed,B button to brake,X to turbo boost. Playing in story mode you are as the title suggests undercover, you ...  Read the complete review
