Advantages: Classic mario fun with added minigames

The new super mario bros. is an excellent game for those who have enjoyed past mario games or haven't yet played one before.

The game features 6 worlds to play in with levels varying from desert to underwater, no level being 'too easy'. The main game follows the traditonal side scrolling gameplay as past games.

There are a few new powerups which have been added to the game including mega mushroom which causes mario to supersize allowing him to destroy just about anything in the level, the more you destroy, the more 1ups you earn.

Throughout each world there are small castles to conqer and at the end of each world is a big castle which is usually the hardest level of each world.

Aside from the main game, there are a range of extremely addictive games from puzzles to action to keep you occupied. The minigames are definitely a bonus to the game, making it that little bit more fun.

Summary: An excellent updated classic with the extra fun of those addictive minigames.
