I have never played a Ninja Gaiden game before, however I have heard from reliable sources that they are typically fairly hardcore button-mashing hack'n'slash games. As such I was surprised when I got hold of 'Dragon Sword' on the DS, more out of curiosity than anything else. The first surprise was that I had to turn my DS sideways, like a book. I wasn't sure what to expect going in, but having beaten the game and seen all that this awesome game has to offer, I'm now on the hunt for ways to play more Ninja Gaiden. The premise of the game is quite simple: you play as legendary ninja Ryu Hayabusa (and occasionally Momiji, a female ninja of the same clan). Dragon Sword occurs sometime shortly after the Dark Dragon Sword Incident ... Read the complete review
