Advantages: Fun, For all ages, Colourful
Disadvantages: None
I got this game a couple of months ago and i'm still hooked. It is great fun and is for all ages. I play it myself as does my 2.5 year old son so the opportunity is endless!
It is a simple yet stimulating game that will keep you entertained for months!
It is also great for younger children as it teaches them the responsability of looking after a pet. From feeding to bathing, walking to training this game will never get boring.
Once you have trained your dogs the basic voice commands (sit, lie down, roll over etc) using the built in mic you can enter your dog in obedience trials. If you manage to get a good rating from the judges then you recieve cash prizes which you use to buy the latest products for your pets.
After taking your dog to the park you can also enter disc competitions for your chance to win more cash prizes.
The final competition you can enter your dog into is the agility trial. You can only enter this after you have taken your dog to the local gymnasium at least once. Again this is great fun and gives you the chance to build up your trainer points as well as money.
The game also has great features including blowing bubbles though the mic, which i must admit can keep my little one etertained alone for hours. The possibilities are endless and there are many unlockablesthroughout the game including other breeds of dogs and treats (dog biscuits, toys).
During the game when you take your dog a walk around town they can bump into dogs on the way and sometimes find you special presents including new styles of collers, balls, cameras etc. However if you already have these products you can sell them on for cash at your local second hand shop!
Throughout the game you can purchase more puppies from the Kennels. Although you can only have 3 puppies at home at any one time you can drop some off at the dog hotel. The dog hotel can hold up to 5 dogs at any one time so in total you can have 8 dogs thoughout.
Every day i have something new to accomplish in this game and as i previously stated the possibiities are endless. I have plenty more trainer points to earn before i have unlocked everything and even then i would continue to do tasks and look after my dogs.
All in all i believe this game was a great buy and would highly recommend it to anyone, regardless of age...
Summary: Fantastic - Highly recommended!

- 03/04/08 Welcome to Dooyoo.
If you want higher ratings you need to add more info on things like what you do in the game (e.g. is it a RPG, First Person Shooter or a Strategy game?), the graphics (e.g. is there any slowdown, how do the characters look and what do the environments look like), the sound (e.g. soundtrack, effects, voice acting etc.) and how much content there is (e.g. how long did it take you to finish, were there any side missions and was there online play?). If you need any more advice send me a PM. |
