Advantages: Allows you to have the puppy you always wanted, with no fur on your carpets!!

Disadvantages: can take forever for your dog to learn its name

NINTENDOGS!!
I got my Nintendogs just days after I got my DS. The very first dog I got was called lucky. Then I found out how to reset it! To reset, press A B X Y R L and START. Then I got multiple dogs, which all were mean to me!! :(. They all tried to bite me (even though this is impossible as they are in the screen!) then I got coco, which was a nice pup and settled in nicely. She now has full walking stamina and is the agility champion.
You can also get to go out for a walk, which allows you to go to the shop, park, and train for agility contests. (A must if you want some extra cash:)) You can also get little blue question marks, which can let you interact with neighbourhood dogs or get more stuff for your inventory, special hidden things, that aren't in any general store!! You can also link up with your friends, if they have a game card (and obviously some dogs to go with it!!) this will be stored in a part called friends list, and on the first day, you can hear their message, stored on their white disc.
GOOD POINTS

+You can earn cash in this game.
+It allows you to have that dream puppy that they always wanted, with no fur on your carpet!!
+It can teach children the lesson of responsibility (i.e. picking up their dogs poop.)
+You can name your dog(s) anything you like!


BAD POINTS

-It can be pretty frustrating, if you can't get your dog to recognise its name, or if it wont do a trick
-it takes forever to get enough stamina to get to the park and back and not being able to take a little de-tour.
-Not really for a cat person
-your dogs sometimes run away if they feel they are being neglected (but do come back later!!!)
-A dog can cost about $500!!!!
