Peppa Pig: The Game (DS): Let's Jump in Muddy Puddles!! (720 words)

I havn't bought my twin boys many DS games for Christmas as the ones I have been buying I have been trying out myself first to see if they are any good. As my twin sons are only young I was concentrating on the age reccomendation of the DS games and characters that they like. One of the games I have bought them is Peppa Pig 'The Game'. This for me is perfect for any young child, who is just beginning with the gaming world and learning about the actual world to. Note Dooyoo'ers this is NOT one for adults lol. I'm terrible for loving children's games, and I love storymode games where you play throughout the story, such as Toy ...  Read the complete review

A fun, simple game which aims to help enhance developmental ... (333 words)

This is a really straightforward game which is very much suited to the pre-school bracket. What is important to realise here is that basically this 'game' is actually being marketed in part as an educational and developmental programme as well as for its entertainment value. In the instruction booklet under how each game is played is an explanation of the skills the game will help develop in your child as they play. For example, under the game 'Parrot' it states that: 'Words and phrases put together to make the Parrot speak is a good way to encourage children's own communciation skills. Lots of fun can be had developing vocabulary amd making ...  Read the complete review

Peppa Pig: The Game (DS): Annoying, but the kids love it. (1174 words)

Rating:

Peppa Pig is a cartoon character aimed firmly at the pre-school market. She is loud, and rude, and sometimes badly behaved, and kids seem to love her. It didn't surprise me at all to see there was a Peppa Pig game for the DS, as there seems to be a lot of branded products in the range, and as there are not that many DS games aimed at the very young children's market, then I decided that I would buy it for my two. The game is for age 3+, which is very appropriate in terms of skill level and interest. My older son aged 5 does not bother much with this one any more, and would rather play with something more to his skill level, but my 3 year old still loves ...  Read the complete review

I bought the Peppa Pig DS game for my 3 year old daughter and unlike some other DS games rated 3+ it really is perfect for her age. My daughter needs very little help with the game, all I have to do is pick the level for her and she's off! There are 3 levels of difficulty so you can adjust the level accordingly for your child. The game is made up of 11 games which I will list below: Colouring in Muddy puddles Burst the bubbles Kite flying Car trip Pancakes Car wash Happy Mrs Chicken Parrot Snowman Hide and Seek My daughter loves all the games but colouring in and pancake ...  Read the complete review

Peppa Pig: The Game (DS): Jump in Muddy Puddles with Peppa & George (338 words)

I bought this game for my youngest son sometime ago now, and it still remains to be one of his favourite games. I remember when we first got it, I set the DS up and handed it over to him to play, within a few minutes he got the jist of the game and was happily playing along, I popped to the kitchen to make a cuppa and heard my son giggling, I mean really proper giggling. Wondering what was amusing him so much I peeped around to see. He was splashing George Pig whilst washing the car and as George ran around trying to get away, my son was in hysterics!!! The game is suitable from quite young, definatly 2 years old. I would say younger even as it's ...  Read the complete review
