How to describe Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney? It's not really like anything else out there!

You take on the role of Phoenix, a rookie lawyer, to make your way through 5 cases - all of which involve friends and colleagues to a greater or lesser extent. You must successfully defend the (always!) innocent accused in the face of police incompetence, lying witnesses, devious prosecutors and a particularly dense judge.

You get to investigate the scene of the crime for evidence, question witnesses both on and off the stand, and visit the accused in custody, piecing together events and working out when people are telling porkies!

In court you have to know when to press witnesses to reveal inconsistencies and when you can shout "Objection!" and pull out a piece of crucial evidence to expose any lies.

The characters and scenarios are all over-the-top - but mostly in a good way! It's a really good fun game in a class of its own.
