Advantages: Great gameplay, reminds you of the film

Disadvantages: Multiplayer and choice of characters to play with

This game is so much like the Pirate of the Caribbean films from the Dead man chest one and the At worlds end one for some reason, but with out The curse of the black pearl.

The game starts with some really spooky ghost like music which already makes you want to check out the game even more. It then has some fighting in it, and you as Will in the beginning falls over. It then says press right and left on the keypad to move. Along the way you will need to collect coins, they will either be Silver or Gold. The silver is obviously less money than the Gold coin. Its B to jump, X to kick and Y to use your sword. L is to block with your sword and R to through bombs which you will need to collect on your journey.

The usually consists of you to jump from platform to platform and to jump onto moving objects. Over than that its fighting and climbing up and down ropes. There are usually some puzzles for instance to open a treasure chest you will need to draw a line before these poles drop down on them and another one is is to put the gear in the correct pin to unlock the door. There are two pins to try out.

The game is very much like in the movie's for instance on the sandy island where they are all fighting as in Will, Norington and Jack Sparrow. And when you do get to be Will when on the island fighting it will tell you some basic moves for you to use on your touch screen for instance left to right, right to left, up to down, and down to up, as well as diagonal lines both ways.

As well as Will playing at the beginning you can also get the choice of Elizabeth and Captain Jack sparrow. Captain Jack sparrow can be played with at the very end when facing Davy Jones and his locker and bodyguards.

Overall its a very well set out game which does bring memories of the film back in your head, but I suppose it could be better in some ways for instance the multiplayer and would be better if you could play as more characters.
