Advantages: Best game in series so far, amazing new features

Disadvantages: As all other pokemon games, a little like the old ones, just an improvement

Game - Pokemon Diamond

Platform - Roleplay

Played on - Nintendo DS

Amazing is the word that springs to mind when playing on this game. It's the same old Pokemon style, yet it has a new edge.

Pokemon Diamond (and Pearl) has a lot of different features added on to essentially the old Pokemon games. A new feature - Poketch - allows you to find berries you've planted (by the way, the new berries do some amazing stuff), you can listen to music, its a map, you can find trainers who want to battle too. Theres a lot more, but you'll have to buy the game yourself, i dont wanna spoil it for you! The Poketch has a real time clock which is synced by wifi to make sure it is correct, so all the time you play your game you do not need to check your watch. Some Pokemons moves change with the time of day, so look out!

Wifi has some amazing effects on this game - you can trade with people from all over the world, a much easier way of getting the pokemon you want.

3D environments and Pokemon add a new dimension to the game. It makes the game feel more.. real.. well as real as a pokemon game can feel! The video is of a very high standard in this game, looking a lot like japanese anime characters when battling, but still the pint-sized pokemon red+blue style people when walking around. The game is however still a far cry from its beginnings as a pixellated minime walked around battling other pixellated monsters with pixellated cries and pixellated music. Nowadays, the audio is a lot clearer - sounding less like mario and more like a playstation game. There are still no talking sounds on the pokemon games - thank goodness though, they can get annoying.

Another interesting feature of this game is the utilisation of the touch screen. You can navigate, use the Poketch and go underground and dig through walls to get special underground items!

You battle against more villains, Team Galactic, who are more or less old Team Rocket but with nicer clothes and better Pokemon.

This is by far the best Pokemon game yet, with some awesome features which take the game to a whole new playing level. The touch screen, audio and video all seem a lot more realistic in this series of the game. I'm hooked, I've only had it since christmas and I've racked up 259 hours playing on it!! BUY THIS, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

Summary: WOW, best game yet. Best game for the ds too!

Welcome to Dooyoo.

If you want higher ratings you need to add more info on things like what you do in the game (e.g. is it a RPG, First Person Shooter or a Strategy game?), the graphics (e.g. is there any slowdown, how do the characters look and what do the environments look like), the sound (e.g. soundtrack, effects, voice acting etc.) and how much content there is (e.g. how long did it take you to finish, were there any side missions and was there online play?). If you need any more advice send me a PM.
