One of the best games for the DS (Professor Layton and the Curious Village (DS))

Advantages: Great fun, easy to play but challenging too Disadvantages: Some of the extra features are a bit pointless
Professor Layton & The Curious Village is a puzzle game for the DS. Professor Layton and his assistant Luke travel to the village of St Mystere at the request of the villagers to find treasure hidden by the wealthy Baron Reinhold before he passed away. Along the way you get given lots of different types of puzzles to solve - there is 130 puzzles to solve in all, and more can be downloaded using Nintendo Wi-Fi. The puzzles themselves are self contained, and if you get stuck on one, it doesn't matter, you can move on and come back to it later if you like. There's also a few other elements to the game - for example you collect pieces of jigsaw puzzles and by the end of the game should be able to complete the picture. There's not a lot of point to some of the extras, but they add a little to the fun. Summary: A diverse, brilliant puzzle game |
