I was a huge fan of Rainbow Islands back in the day of the Commodore 64 and this game was big when it came out as a sequel to the brilliant Bubble Bobble. I wasted many an hour playing this game. So when I saw this game was available for the DS I was really excited to play it. However I was left very disappointed as this game is just terrible. Rainbow Islands is a platform game. You start with a little boy inside a bubble and drift around, you control him using your stylus. On the way up the level you draw rainbows to kill enemies.
