Advantages: Loads of super powers to chose from

Disadvantages: Easy levels, Same sounds over and over again

The game starts by you playing as Rayman being invaded by these sort of rabbit like creatures called Rabbids. After telling you the main story you will then need to go on the quest given. It tells you the basic controls of B to jump, Press B again while in the air to use the helicopter with your ears, Y is to punch(the punch can reach some really long distances), A is to shoot lums at enemy's(lums are fairly like creatures which you need to collect), Press L button to show the progress your at and the R button to display what you need to do and your objective of the level your on. Also you will need to press the X button once granted with the green costume to make a stone when your on a earth symbol.

The sounds affects in my opinion are really great, they are very sort of sickly and mad like, some rabbits screaming out of nowhere here and there which makes the game so fun and interesting. The abilities and powers that Rayman has are superb, there are absolutely so many of them its unbelievable.

The levels that are tasked for you to play are relatively short, it can take about 5 minutes and under to just complete a single level. The level is also kind of straight forward. Simply making balls, rolling them about, and then jumping on them to get to higher platforms.

Some levels really have no taste behind them, for instance the third level of the game, you need to use the touchscreen for this bit. You will just need to touch objects to make them fall down etc which I thought was plain useless. You will need to touch a trophy to make it fall to the ground, how dumb is that! They probably rushed the levels just a bit!

There are minigames in the game aswell which come to you at time to time, even in levels which can be annoying. They often need you to solve simple puzzles, and move around blocks into the right places, even as the game is all about rabbits, Rayman will need to play not whack-a-mole but whack-a-rabbid, which is surprisingly fun!

The game is 2-D and is a right to left game, In this series of the Rayman games I think is the only series to do left to right, which is OK but nor brilliant. Even in the DS version it reminds me of back playing it on the GBA version and below. The same music soundtracks goes over and over on each level which is so annoying, also the graphics are not that great but will do.

Overall its a great game for you and your kids to enjoy, it may not be perfect but it will be good or even great for younger players. I give the game 8 out of 10.

Summary: Good enough game to be in the top list
