I wanted a game for my holiday to Vegas and I saw this and thought, what a good idea! The game looked good and had lots of minigames to play. However, I was wrong, the game is rubbish and boring. The game has many problems and nothing good.
The graphics aren't very good at all, some of the worst on the DS. The framerate is very bad and the game crashes a lot.
The gameplay isn't very good either. The minigames are mostly boring, but some are good. They are very boring and get very repetitive. After a few hours, you will be very bored and will go back to playing other games. The games don't play like the real games and are a total dissapointment. There is no online mode to beat people.
If you want to get a DS game to spend some time with, don't buy this. Instead, buy Mario Kart DS or some other gem that will keep you entertained for more than a couple of hours. The game should just be avoided for every reason.
Road To Vegas on DS is absolutely awful, the graphics look good in reviews but don't let this fool you like it did me! Out of the 27 mini-games available I was expecting to find just ONE that was any good, but I was wrong - every game is really bad. The fruit machines play nothing like real arcade machines (i.e. Crazy Fruits) and will bore you to death, especially the machines that only require you to pull a single lever!
If developers are going to include fruit machines in their games then they should at least visit a proper arcade so they can see what makes a fruit machine fun, and this is often the feature board.
With so many other good games available for DS there is no point in wasting money on a game that has clearly been thrown together. No thought has gone into the design of this game, its just been created to make a profit.
None of the 27 mini-games deserve one star - AVOID!!!
Go from rags to riches on the Road to Vegas! Start off in Blackpool in the UK and then as you conquer the local tables your journey to Vegas opens up in front of you.
