Advantages: 3 great puzzles, lots of layouts

Disadvantages: none for me!

I seen this game sitting on the self in GAME for £15 and couldn't resist. I love retro games and bought this game mostly because I enjoy playing Solitaire and spend a long time on the bus with my DS, so I always have my DS and something to amuse me on hand.

As the game title suggests there are 3 different games on this game, Solitaire, Mahjong and Tangram. I must admit when I initially bought this game I really was only familiar with Solitaire, but now I get as much enjoyment from the other two games, Tangram being my favourite. Here is a brief description of each game:
Solitaire
Solitaire is a one player card game where the aim of the game is to set cards in order by suit from Ace, through 2,3,4, and so on to King. This game is very popular and has been attached to the games part of most computers since I can remember. There are a range of different layouts of Solitaire on this game, including classic, spider, free cell and more. I haven't played through all the layouts, but I enjoy playing the Spider layout. I think that its nice for this game to have different layouts to play with as it makes the game less boring and repetitive.

Mahjong
Mahjong is a tile game where the objective of the game is to match up tiles into pairs that look the same. On this game there are a range of different layouts and you can choose from small medium and large layouts or different patterns on the tiles like dots and crosses or animals. This game can be really tricky but its a challenge and can be addictive when you start playing, its like an advanced game of pairs.

Tangram
Tangram is a puzzle game and would be my least favourite game on this 3:1 game. The objective of the game is to put shapes that are given to you together in such a way that they represent another shape that has also been pre-determined and given to you. This game is quite easy to begin with and then the more puzzles you complete, the harder it can be to complete. This game reminds me of a shape game that I seen on the Brain Training game for the DS though I am sure that this is the original.

Picture Puzzle
This game has been added in at the end of the game, though it is not advertised in the name or the front cover. This game is a puzzle game where the object of the game is to make up pictures with different puzzle pictures, there are three different modes in which you can play this game, easy, medium and hard. The hard mode on this game is really challenging and I really enjoy puzzles in general so this game is great from my point of view.

The graphics on this game are what you would expect from the Nintendo ds, they are bright colourful and cartoon styled, they could be described as quite child-like compared to games available on the Xbox or Playstation, but I think that this is what attracts Nintendo fans as games are light hearted and fun to play/look at.

Overall I think that this is a great collection of games, I think that this would be a good by for anyone who loves puzzle and solo playing games or who has came across them on their computer and would like a portable DS version of them. I was glad I bought it and have got lots of hours of gameplay from it. My favourite game from this collection is still Solitaire, though all the games have some kind of playability out of them.
