Advantages: good controls, good graphics and new content

Disadvantages: sometimes laggy, gameplay often frustrating.

Lets get it out in the open, this isn't an original game it's a remake of classic N64 game that was embrassed by millions. However, that doesn't mean this game isn't good, in fact, I would say in all honesty that it surpasses the origninal game in a variety of ways. Firstly, the intuitive touch screen controls on the Nintendo DS system make gameplay significantly easier but still present the much needed chanllenge of mastering these controls. Secondly, with the addition of a bagful of new levels and mini games, the game lasts longer and presents more replay value. Thirdly, the graphics are only slightly better but it seems the camera angles that hounded the original have been fixed in this remake. This game is a great buy for both gamers new to Super Mario 64 and fans of the original and will not dissappoint on any level.

Summary: A clone of the original but a buy nevertheless.
