Each level normally consists of getting from A to B while completing a few puzzle, such as finding a key to unlock the door, or sneaking past the guards. After a few levels I have found the game quite repetitive but I have enjoyed the problem solving puzzles in the game.

I bought this game as soon as it came out on sale as I loved the movie so much I just wanted to play the game on the DS as well! However after a few hours I was quickly disappointed with The Golden Compass. In the game you play the main character lara and work your way around the boarding school/house.
