Advantages: It's Tiki the Kiwi!!!!!!!! Very fun game, great for all ages.

Disadvantages: None, it's great!

I first fell in love with Tiki the Kiwi back in the very late 80's. It was one of the first games I ever played. I can't remember whether it was on the Commodore 64 or Spectrum but either way it seemed to take around 3 hours to load up!

I was around 5 at the time but have always remembered my first love, Tiki. Now as I approach my 25th birthday I am reunited with the adorable Tiki, something I had never thought possible!

Tiki is a (very brave!) Kiwi bird who sets out on a mission to save his friends, all of whom have been captured by the evil Leopard Seal. They are hidden in cages all over New Zealand, and it is only Tiki, armed with his trusty bow and arrow, who is able to rescue them.

The game is extremely colourful and has a Japanese style design to it. You meet various 'baddies' along the way who turn into fruit and various other goodies when you shoot them. They are then worth points and when you collect so many points you gain a life.

It is a basic platform game that is fun and easy to follow. Some of the baddies come along on balloons, flying ducks or even laser ships. When you kill the baddie you can steal their transport, which gives the game another element to it.

There are also various little extras in the game that make use of the stylus, such as turning a key to open doors or catching Tiki with the stylus to throw him over pits. You even get to go fishing in one level!

There are five levels, each with various stages and at the end of each level you fight a 'boss'. These are a little more difficult, but not too difficult that the game gets frustrating to play.

The game is probably aimed at children but I thoroughly enjoyed playing it. Maybe it is because of the nostalgia attached to it, but it really is a fun game; it is also quite varied, unlike a lot of children's games which can get quite tedious after a while.

The game is quite new so is available from most game shops and is somewhere in the games chart - don't ask me where!

All in all - A 5 star game that would make an excellent Christmas pressie, buy it - buy it NOW!

Summary: A fab game that is great for all ages
