I have been a fan of the sims games for a long time so therefore when I purchased my DS I purchased this straight away. As the title suggests, in the Sims 2 : Castaway you play the role of a sim stranded on a dessert island. To begin with you build your shelter and then begin to explore the island. As you progress through the game, more sections of the island become available to access and you can do different tasks. For example, you can interact with other sims on the island, grow food, pick fruit, go swimming, go fishing and bathe. Similar to the other sims games, you need to keep the sims various levels high enough eg. tiredness, hunger and basically look after your sim. There is always something new to discover on the island. Good game, perfect for fans of the sims with an interesting twist.
