Very different from the original (The Sims 2 (DS))

AVAILABILITY
The Sims 2 is the eagerly awaited follow up for the original Sims game that was available on PC all them years ago! It is available on a number of platforms, including the DS and is available at a number of online stores and all good gaming shops. Currently on sale in Game for £14.99.

GAMEPLAY
I was very wary of buying this game for the DS as I am a huge original sims fan and therefore was a bit concerned that it would be nothing like the original and therefore ruin my image of the games. The Sims 2 is rather different to the original as now you are looking into a town and its history. Whilst helping to bring a run down hotel up to date you need to look into Strangetowns history and discover a number of things about the town.

MY OPINION
I was not overly impressed with this game, I found it very difficult to navigate and it was not too similar to the game I had become used to playing on the PC. I found the controls on the DS difficult to get used to as there was so much to do.

Summary: Worth a try but shop around for a bargain
