===The Sims 2 DS===
Being a Sims fan I knew that I would like this game although it is a lot different to playing it on the PC.
I was used to the original Sims but fancied a change so got this for the DS instead.
Nothing to do with the fact I had been bought a new pink DSi for Christmas!!!
As with all DS games this came in a little square case and had a little grey cartridge inside the case along with the instruction manuel and some other bit's of paper.
Starting this game up I was met with the familiar green diamond shaped symbol spinning around I then had to pick a save file and went onto make my Sim character.
There's not as many features with the DS version as there is with the PC version but it is still really good. After making the character you then go on to play the game.
You arrive in Strangetown and your car breaks down..... Typical!
The mechanic offers to repair your car and you make your way over to a delapetated hotel, it then falls to you to bring life back to Strangetown as you take control of the hotel, you have to clean it, bring batons to the furnace to keep it burning and keep customers happy.
Wandering around the hotel you will notice the different themed rooms and also outside in Strangetown you will be able to go to the bar, the sherrifs office and the shop.
You can also go off to the desert where you can dig up treasures, be careful though, keep an eye on your Sims sanity meter or they will go loopy!
Aliens also arrive and try to take over the hotel, can you survive it??
I throughly enjoyed ths game and even though most of it is nice and easy I got totally stuck at the end and it took my about 3 days to figure out what I was doing wrong... Stresssss?? Yes!
It's got good graphics for what it is and the game plays through really smoothly.
Unlike other Sims games this one does actually play in real time, so if you leave it a few days and go back on you will find the furnace has gone out and there will be dust everywhere!
Summary: A fun game with aliens to contend with too!
