Advantages: keeps you occupied for a short amount of time

Disadvantages: very repetitive

I got this game as part of a 2 for £19.99 offer in argos. I didn't know what else I wanted for christmas so I thought I might as well, considering that I have played on the PC version of the sims and found it quite entertaining.

It is a pretty simple concept of a game once you get the hang of it, although once you have got the hang of it, it is pretty simple, and dare I say it, boring. What you have to do is build up your main character, which is who you will be for the whole of the game. You can make it male or female, choose it's close and what it's face will look like, basically the same as what you would do on the PC version. You also get to build your own pet, either a cat or dog. A bit like you human sim, you can change parts of it. Like it's fur length, you can even change the breed, and it's name.

Depending on how many enimals you treat you have to try and get as high a reputation as possible, the higher the reputation, the more pets you'll be able to treat and therefore the more money you will get.

The pets you are able to treat are either cats or dogs, you have to treat them for various simptons and keep them in for as long as they need to get better. However, if you do not have any space for your pets you will have to send them away to another vet. Al though this means you wont gain any reputation, you will still get a small amount of money.

Along with all of the vet equipment that you may need to purchase, you can also buy things which will keep your sim happy and active, like a sewing machine and a computer.

Overall, I think this is a good game at first, when you learning all the little things that make you a good vet, but after a while does get a little repetitive, so you can only go on it for short speels of time. Occasionally it does tend to freeze, expecially when you live in the biggest of the houses, so I would strongly recomend that you save it at every possible moment. A good buy but definately not the best game in the world.
