I haven't tried the Urbz on DS, but I have on my PS2. To be honest it's fairly confusing, especially if you start off playing in multi player. But after a few tries it gets more and more interesting. What you should aim for is to get enough reputation at first in order to get all the special features like social moves, which are indeed pretty cool to watch. Another thing you shouldn't forget is to get a job, try doing one job for a while so you get more specialist and then you can earn more and buy loads of funky clothes from the shops. Over all I think it is better than the very first sims game, but it's not to be compared with sims 2 as it's much better, you can pretty much do all the things you do in the urbz, but you get much more variety!
