Advantages: Is very cool, nice graphics
Disadvantages: none for me
Yoshi's Island, launched in 1995, was the precursor to worldwide success Super Mario Brothers. In the game, the player controlled Yoshi - kind dinosaur of universe Mario - for a phased-shaped platforms. The aim was to guide Yoshi with a baby Mario, searching for your brother Luigi, which in turn caught out by the claws of the dreaded Bowser.
The graphics were colorful and well designed from the aspect of chalk wax. Insofar as the player progressed, the level of difficulty increases and greater ability and agility required by the player. About 11 years later, the game returns to the screens of another console from Nintendo, the DS portable. Now, with some modifications novel. The plot is similar to the first version, however there are many babies for the acquisition during the adventure, including Wario, Donkey Kong, Baby Bowser and even the Princess Peach.
Each of them provides different skills for the dinosaur progress on the maps. For example, Mario brings greater agility, Peach can do the dinosaur float in the wind with her umbrella, Baby Bowser is able to expel balls of fire; enables the ape Donkey Kong cling to in vines, and Wario has a magnet that attracts metal.
Unlike the first title, the crying of babies has improved on the version for Super Nintendo, as many claim the sound effect when Yoshi lost babies. Furthermore, the soundtrack received smoothing and was much slower than the original title.
The story noted that in a day, the Magikoopa Kamek kidnaps all the babies of Yoshi's Island and took them to the evil Bowser, leaving behind only the babies Mario and Peach. It is for the player, then recover the other babies with dinosaur Yoshi, going several stages divided into 5 worlds.
The game uses the 2 screens of the DS, though one is always the expansion of the other scenario. There is also the addition of several minigames throughout the game, as well as secret stages and a museum. Finally, Yoshi's Island DS is a continuing adventure with a challenging and that recalls the classic to Super Nintendo.
Summary: You'll loved this game
