Trauma Center: Second Opinion (Wii) Manufacturer: Nintendo / Nintendo Wii Games / Genre: Simulation / Minimum Age: 11 - The original Trauma Center is already one of the most original and fun games on the Nintendo DS but although this is largely just a remake of that game it's more than welcome on the Wii. Battalion Wars II (Wii) Manufacturer: Nintendo / Nintendo Wii Games / Genre: Action - The first Battalion Wars game was a pretty low key release, but it was actually a very clever mix of third person shooting and real-time strategy. Its main problem was that the control system was rather fiddly, as you tried to both shoot and order s... overall rating |

Carnival: Funfair Games (Wii) ... I fancied this game as soon as it came out, but since I hadn t spent much time lately playing the games that I already had, I couldn t justify getting myself another one. However, hubby s payday came and I was bored at work, so went onto Amazon to pass some time and buy some presents for myself. I bought Carnival on Amazon Marketplace (new) for £15 + p&p. The game generally seems to be available in shops for £20, or as a £30 for 2 games deal (such as in Argos), so essentially it s £15. ===Getting Started=== On getting the game home and finding that hubby was out for the evening I sat myself down to an evening of funfair games. After 5 min... Read the full review: Marymoose shoots some ducks! by marymoose |

Mario Strikers Charged (Wii) ... never played the original Gamecube game in this series I decided to try out this game mainly on the basis that it was the first European Wii game to include online play. The game uses simple button presses and flicks of the controllers to control the players and it works fairly well. The game includes a series of cups which can be played on your own or with a friend, you select your team and play the computer, which gets progressively harder as you win competitions. While the game is easy enough to control it can be very difficult to defeat the opponents on the hardest cup. The online mode is the reason I bought this game and it does not disappoint. for a first onl... Read the full review: Strikers Charged - Does it score? by Olly0390 |

Game Party (Wii) ... not owning a Wii myself, I have always been overly intrigued about playing one of these new and definitely very cool looking games consoles. It just happened this bank holiday that I ended up spending some time with my boyfriend and his mum s Wii. Having bought a new game for the console earlier that day I was persuaded after a little while to play against him. Not that putting me in a competition situation is a good idea... Especially against him..! ~~ Packaging ~~ As with any console the games are always cased in the distinctive DVD style packaging with the trademark Nintendo white background with the Wii logo in the top right hand corner just so the customer kno...
