The aim of the game is to complete a series of challenges in different worlds. As the game progresses the challenges get harder and faster. You are tutored to hold the wii remote in different ways that helps to complete the challenges. If you complete all the chal...

Katy_roberts85 Wario Ware: Smooth Moves (Wii)
... This game is weird.....we first played it at a friends and it is really rather entertaining. It utilisies the Wii remote in a number of inventive and odd ways. You have to simulate various actions quickly to pass and complete a level e.g pestle and mortar moves, elephant trunk, toenail clipping, bottle opening. There are 15 core moves that you have to master and then manifest in some mini-challenge such as the nose picking challenge.... It is all very odd..... Some of the moves are difficult to master and we have gotten really stuck at one of the boss levels where you have to place the remote on your forehead and fire bullets - we have given up here as have tri...

sirjamesp De Blob (Wii)
... Blob is a great game - totally different gameplay from your standard fare, great background music (more about this later!), and fun extras. The basic premise is that De Blob s world has been rendered black and white by an inky dictator, and you must bring the colour back (and free the inhabitants) by filling up with paint and bouncing around the scenery. It starts off very minimalist as you enter each new black and white level, and starts to build as you bring more colour back. It worms its way...

SlyRobot Blastworks (Wii)
... one of the weirdest Sh mups you re ever likely to play, certainly the most customisable, Blast Works is a true indie title, one that grew up on PC and was reworked for the Wii. Imagine you re a block of Lego (As you do) and everything you walk into sticks to your brick like form, firing out bullets in whatever angle it stuck to you. Now imagine you re a flying Lego brick, and those things you re walking into are evil flying bricks from some sort of brick dimension, and the only way to kill them is to attach them to yourself. Now what sounds like some sort of perverted acid scenario turns about to be a fantastic little shooter. Rather than collect power ups to i...
