Donnabroom Chicken Shoot (Wii): ... Shoot: This is one of the games I recently rented from Tesco DVD Rentals and all I can say is that I am glad I didn t buy it. There is no plot or premise to this game but for whatever reason you have to shoot chickens. Normally I love shooting games on the Wii so I was expecting good things from this game but it was a massive disappointment. The graphics are simply horrible, they look like they were cheap c...

eisbrecher The Conduit (Wii)
... solitary main character who prefers working on their own, massively varying environments and monstrous looking enemies. This may sound familiar to fans of the Metroid Prime series and this is no coincidence. Though it is not named as inspiration for The Conduit, it is obvious, to me at least, that High Voltage took some inspiration from the series, along with Cloverfield and War of the Worlds. Prior to release, High Voltage had promised a great looking game, claiming they would produce a fun and unique shooter whilst putting a lot of focus on the graphical side of the game even to the rather outlandish claim of being close to PS3/360 standard. Published by Sega, this i...

randomreviews De Blob (Wii)
... Blob is a unique and extremely addictive game. The premise is that you live in a world devoid of color due to the evil INKT Corporation who took over. They have changed the world into a black and white, boring place where everything including vegetation is decrepit and lifeless. You play as Blob, a character who absorbs colors and restores and liberates the people of Chroma City by giving them back color while combating INKT and taking down their bases. One cool aspect is the color fusion system where mixing colors like red and yellow will give you orange. In each stage, there are numerous time limited events where if you complete them you get a points bonus. Earning...

randomreviews Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (Wii)
... Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi III After Budokai 3 was released I was hoping Atari would have released a new game that improved off of it, however it seems like they only release fighters in a triology and so Budokai Tenkaichi hit the shelves. I was very disappointed with the first two. Basic controls with heavy reliance on the same button was boring and redundant. It basically turned into a fighting game for DBZ fans and people who sucked at fighters in my opinion. But then the series moved onto Wii. Budokai Tenkaichi 3 seems to reverse that opinion with its incredibly interactive experience provided with the Wiimote. [Graphics] The graphics are well polished. Charac...
