Wario Ware: Smooth Moves (Wii):
... was one of the first games I got for my Wii, and I must say its not one of my favourites, very good as a first game as it not only taught me lots of ways to use the controller but also as the games were so quick it kept my concentration. I think my favourite part was telling everyone else that they had to do the actions exactly how they appeared on the screen. I did find that once I completed it I had no real u... Battalion Wars II (Wii) Manufacturer: Nintendo / Nintendo Wii Games / Genre: Action - The first Battalion Wars game was a pretty low key release, but it was actually a very clever mix of third person shooting and real-time strategy. No More Heroes (Wii) ... More Heroes; Travis Touchdown certainly is not a Hero not by any Super Hero standards such as Superman or Spider-Man. In NMH you take on the role of Travis Touchdown, a perverted, manga reading, cat owning, bike riding, shades wearing, beam wielding wannabe bad-ass. The main mission in NMH is to ascend a ranking list of 10 fighters and eventually becoming number 1, there are numerous side missions disguised as part-time jobs and others which contribute to your overall mission and this makes the game elements pretty solid as you never feel like you are wasting time. The gameplay itself is easy to pick up like all the GOOD Wii games with a simple button mashing of eit... Eledees (Wii) ... game is known as Eledees in the UK, but Elebits everywhere else. I have no idea why they felt to change the name just for us, but there you go! I won t explain all of the weird and whimsical storyline surrounding this game - really, who needs them?! - but the basic premise is that the eledees create electricity. They have escaped and in various levels you have to round them up again using a capture gun. In practise this means pointing your Wii remote at them and pressing the A button. As well as moving around the levels you also move items to find the eledees hiding places. You have time limits and also other limits such as not making a noise or not being attack... Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (Wii) ... have to admit that I bought this game purely for the fifty party games that are a supposed side-show to the game proper. I have played the main game probably less than ten times in the last six months - it s fun, the object being to guide your monkey along an obstacle course inside his little monkey ball - but it s not a patch on Mercury Meltdown Revolution, which has a similar (but by no means identical) gameplay. The party games are excellent, particularly if you regularly play multiplayer games with friends or family members. There are fifty of them ranging from the relatively sane to the downright daft, but you will need multiple remote controls and nunchucks to ...
