mr_nadge Ultimate Board Games (Wii): ... Board Games is another Wii Game that tries to aim itself firmly at the family play market. It comes complete with 12 of the most popular (and common) board games that you can find. Because the concept is pretty simple, the game does try to dress itself up a bit. You can play solo against the computer or 4 people can all play each other simultaneously. You can vary the rules of the different games & cha...

One game that does fall into that category though is Monopoly, a game I played countless times when I was younger. So when I saw it was now available to buy for the Wii I thought it couldn t go wrong. A family classic played around the world should convert quite easily onto Nintendo s flagship console. ... like the board game, but without all the fiddle little bits that do everyones head in!!! Move around the board with the dude using the Wii remote as a dice shaker, bid on properties and become a business tycoon. With a variety of baords to unlock and stamps to collect along to way to enable you to do this. Also has Tycoon Edition where you can steal property from your opponents, and minigames which are great fun and contain silly little games such as getting a bankrobber back onto the van before the cops catch him. Multiplayer function so you can compete against family and friends. Just like the board game it takes a long time to play, however there are advantage...
