Dave24 Okami (Wii): ... was purchased a while back but due to the front cover of the game and the images on the back. So basically the cool wolf on the front in a Japanese style art form and some in game images got me to buy the game! If you are into games such as Zelda then this game might be for you, as many of the controls are similar especially as in Okami you play as a wolf as you do in zelda also. The game has been drawn/designe...

randomreviews Okami (Wii)
... on a brilliant journey through a Japanese mythology inspired masterpieces, originally released on PS2 but now remade for the Wii with stunning more interactive controls. You control Amaterasu, the sun-god who has taken the form of a wolf and journey forth with your enchanted celestial brush to restore balance and end the evil that Orochi has unleashed upon the land. The controls are very easy to adapt to. Using brush attacks are awesome because a quick slash of your Wiimote for instance will be picked up by the Wii and can be used in-game to defeat opponents, clear paths, and more. The storyline is deeply engrossing and players of all skill levels can admire a...

TheAstronaut Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles (Wii)
... when it was first released all those years ago I ve followed the series blindly, soaring to new heights with Resident Evil 4, and sinking to new lows with Code Veronica, Resident Evil has been apart of my gaming life since I was as young as six watching my older brothers play it, lights switched off, me cowering behind a pillow, half-frightened to death. So, it s with a heavy heart I admit that Capcom s latest offering isn t up to scratch. Being such a fan I plugged away at the game, hoping to find some silver lining wrapped around this storm clogged cloud. The real shame here is that the game had such potential. All the ingredients were right. But the broth that s been...

eisbrecher Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles (Wii)
... Evil fans may be aware that spin-offs from the main series are in general, terrible. I was overjoyed upon finding out that Umbrella Chronicles is indeed, not just better than all spin-offs but is also, in my opinion, better than some of the games in the main series, despite being an on-rails shooter, contrasting sharply with the other Resident Evil games. I find it important to point out that Capcom has made this as a love letter to fans, specifically the die hard Wesker fans, who (believe me) are numerous. Frustrated with previous lack of ability to play as Wesker, Resident Evil 4 changed that, but this did not satisfy these fans, it merely made them want more. The...
